Description for B&B:

Located in the heart of the village, we warmly welcome you to our beautifully restored historic house, which was once the old town hall and school. This charming building is situated on the foothills of the now destroyed Castle St Georges. Saorge village, often referred to as the "Tibetan" village, overlooks the stunning Roya Valley from atop a cliff. It is conveniently located on the GR52 hiking trail and the scenic Route du Baroque Nisso Ligure. Not only is the village a gateway to the breathtaking Mercantour National Park and the Valley of Marvels, but it also offers a perfect blend of seaside and mountain experiences, with the sea (Ventimiglia) just 30km (20 minutes) away and Nice only 70km (1 hour) away.

Each of our tastefully decorated rooms exudes a unique atmosphere, combining comfort and authenticity. They are named after the village's charming fountains: Geija, Caquée, Soutai, Caranca, and Medge. All rooms boast a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and the beds can be separated into 160cm or 180cm for your convenience. Furthermore, our guest rooms have been awarded the prestigious "label charmance" and hold a three-ear rating.
