To reach Espéraza from Carcassonne, which is a medieval walled city, you can take a 50-kilometer journey south. Ryanair offers daily flights from Stansted near London to Carcassonne, particularly during the low season, with affordable mid-week fares. At the airport, you can easily rent a car. Alternatively, there is a rail link and a coach service available from the airport to Espéraza.
From Perpignan, which is located on the coast near the Spanish border, Espéraza is approximately 70 kilometers northwest.
