Welcome to "The Caminade," a charming and meticulously restored farmhouse dating back to 1876, nestled in the picturesque village of Bourg de Bigorre, at the foothills of the majestic Pyrenees. Nicole and Gerald, the proud owners of this beautiful home, warmly invite you to experience its unique character and tranquility.

Our bed and breakfast offers three spacious and comfortable rooms, two conveniently located on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. Immerse yourself in the refreshing waters of our swimming pool or unwind on the terrace, complete with comfortable reclining chairs and patio furniture, all at your disposal.

In addition to single-night stays, we also offer weekly bookings for your convenience. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, we provide a hot plate, fridge, and sink for your use. Alternatively, you are welcome to join our family for an evening meal, carefully crafted with locally sourced ingredients, either around the dining table or by the poolside.

Endroit où nous allons régulièrement. Accueil chaleureux, cadre magnifique, propreté des lieux et bon goût de la décoration. L'espace commun est une vraie réussite. Chambres spacieuses (nous avons trois enfants).
Pour personnes aimant le calme et la tranquillité. un vrai moment de détente et de repos.

Directions

To reach the Caminade, follow these travel directions:

1. If you are coming from Toulouse, take motorway A 64 (Toulouse-Bayonne) and exit at Capvern N°15. From there, head towards Capvern center and take the D938. Continue on this road until you reach Mauvezin Escaladieu, where you will take a left onto the D14 towards Bourg de Bigorre.

2. If you are coming from Pau, take the exit n°14 for Tournay. Follow the signs to Tournay center on the N117. From there, continue towards Ozon and then take the D14 in the direction of Abbey Escaladieu and Bourg de Bigorre.

3. If you prefer to travel by train, you can either get off at Tournay station (10Kms away from the Caminade) or Lannemezan station (15 Kms away).

4. For those traveling by plane, the nearest airports are Tarbes-Lourdes airport (30kms), Pau airport (80Kms), and Toulouse airport (130 Kms).

Once you have reached Bourg, look for the red hut and turn left. Proceed for 200m and you will arrive at the Caminade.
