Description for B&B:
The Main HouseThe Maison de l'Orchidee is a historic Vignernon house constructed in the 1700s. While preserving its original features, the main facilities have been updated to provide a modern bed and breakfast experience, known as Chambre Dhotes. The presence of wooden doors and skirtings adds to the building's historical charm. With central heating in all rooms, the house is perfect for stays during the later seasons. The loft space has been insulated with half a meter of material to ensure warmth during winter months. This creates a cozy atmosphere for visits in October and November, when the autumn colors are at their peak. Upon returning to the house, guests can enjoy a complimentary mug of hot chocolate or Coca (available for winter bookings only, from November to March). The construction of the walls helps regulate the temperature, keeping the interior cooler in summer and retaining heat in winter. Additionally, all bedroom suites are equipped with large ceiling fans to circulate air during warm summer nights, ensuring a pleasant sleep.
