In 2017, Sakura Guesthouse was established with the goal of offering comfortable accommodation to travelers from around the globe. Nestled alongside the picturesque Dordogne river within a spacious one-acre garden, our aim is to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience during your stay.Conveniently located, our house is easily accessible and just a short stroll away from a train station that connects to Bordeaux, Bergerac, Sarlat, and St. Emilion.
Within our garden, you will find an array of mature fruit trees as well as inviting outdoor areas for dining and lounging. If you have an affinity for birdwatching, our garden becomes a lively habitat for various species during the spring and summer months, while the river is home to graceful swans, majestic herons, and geese. Should you desire to indulge in some fishing, direct access to the river is available from our property.
For your convenience, the nearby towns, a mere walking distance away, offer all the essentials you may require during your stay, including bakeries, a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, a bank, and a post office.

The house is located in the heart of Aquitaine, between Bordeaux and Sarlat-la-Canéda, and is a 90-minute drive from both cities. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the charming market towns of Bergerac and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande. Moreover, we have easy access to Bergerac-Roumanière Airport and the local TER train network. The nearest train station is just a short ten-minute walk from the house.
