Introducing "The Grape Escape," a charming gite that comfortably accommodates 2 to 4 guests. This semi-detached cottage, adjacent to the main farmhouse, is nestled in a picturesque courtyard, surrounded by vineyards on two sides, and offers stunning views of the forested valley. Step into the grand room, boasting five large double windows that provide a captivating panorama of the vineyards. Here, you'll find a plush seating area with cozy sofas and chairs, along with a king-size bed (or single bed depending on your needs) to ensure a restful night's sleep.The second bedroom features two single beds, which can be easily converted into a king-size double bed, and is complemented by a set of convenient drawers. Completing the accommodation is a generously sized bathroom, spanning 10m2 and featuring a luxurious bath, standalone shower, WC, basin, and breathtaking views. Additionally, a walk-in cupboard/utility room is available for your convenience.
Step outside onto the paved and shaded terrace, where you can unwind and soak up the peaceful surroundings. This outdoor space is equipped with a garden table, chairs, sun loungers, an umbrella, and a barbecue. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious French-country kitchen and living area, adorned with modern cupboards and new appliances such as a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, cooker, and washing machine. Directions
To find Chateau Haut Garrigue, located on the edge of Saussignac village approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes east of Bordeaux city, follow these travel directions:
1. If you are driving from Bordeaux airport, head north on the ring road towards Paris Nantes.
2. After crossing the Pont d'Aquitaine, take exit 1 towards Libourne Perigueux and stay in the right lane.
3. Continue on exit 26 towards Libourne and after 18.5 kilometers, take exit 9 to Libourne.
4. After 6 kilometers, take the right exit for Bergerac, St Emilion, and Libourne est.
5. At the top of the ramp, turn right towards Bergerac and stay on this road, which becomes the D936 on the map.
6. When you reach Gardonne (approximately one hour from Bordeaux), turn right at the Renault garage onto the D4 towards Saussignac.
7. After 4 kilometers from Gardonne, you will come across a crossing with the district road (D14) and the road to Saussignac will start to ascend.
8. Around 100 meters after crossing the district road, take the left fork, signposted Chat La Garrigue (us).
9. Then, take the next left turn (just before the cemetery). Chateau Haut Garrigue is the last property on this road.
10. If you are coming from Bergerac, take the Bordeaux road and then turn left at the Renault garage in Gardonne. Follow the directions mentioned above.
