Description for Gite

Located just 10 minutes from AUBENAS, the MAS Bourlenc is the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway with your family or friends. Surrounded by nature, you can unwind in the peacefulness interrupted only by the delightful sounds of birds and cicadas during the summer.

The property boasts stunning views from every angle, ensuring privacy and tranquility. The 230 m2 stone farmhouse has been beautifully restored and expanded by Thierry, using high-quality materials such as stone, wood, and lime, as well as traditional Provençal ceilings.

The farmhouse is divided into two wings, providing separate day and night areas. Each wing has its own independent access, but one of the five bedrooms allows for easy communication between the two wings, allowing everyone to have their own space without disturbing others.

On the left side of the farmhouse, you will find a small staircase leading to a spacious terrace shaded by a charming arbor, where you can enjoy al fresco dining. This leads to a second open terrace, offering a breathtaking 180° view of the surrounding nature. The large semi-professional kitchen with Provençal ceilings is fully equipped with various amenities, including a Lacanche gas stove and oven, granite countertops, and two refrigerators with freezers.

The right wing of the farmhouse is dedicated to the five bedrooms, each with its own terrace providing a peaceful space for reading and enjoying the views. The rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, wardrobes, and tables. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms, while others have adjoining bathrooms. All windows have screens (except the second bedroom) and there are individual kettles and hair dryers provided.

To cool off, you can take a refreshing dip in the saltwater swimming pool, which measures 9.5 x 4.5 meters and features two jacuzzi jets. From the poolside sunbeds, you can admire the olive trees on the property and enjoy the stunning view of the Cevennes mountains. There is also a shaded area with a fridge, table, and chairs.

Other amenities include a ping pong table, board games, and a selection of books. Additionally, you can explore the surrounding area by embarking on hikes or bike rides, with plenty of trails accessible directly from the farmhouse. Information on local attractions and activities is available on-site, and upon request, a certified masseuse can come to the farmhouse for a relaxing massage.

The MAS Bourlenc is conveniently located just 12 minutes from Aubenas, 15 minutes from Vals les Bains, and 10 minutes from the picturesque villages of Jean Ferrat and Antraigues-sur-Volane. For outdoor enthusiasts, the famous Gorges of the Ardèche, perfect for canoeing, are only 20 minutes away, and the Cave du Pont d'Arc (Chauvet Cave) is a 50-minute drive.

There is a grocery store and a pizzeria just 2 kilometers away, and open parking is available at the bottom of the property.

Come and experience the tranquility and beauty of the MAS Bourlenc for yourself.

Coin de paradis
Review by: Stéphanie givolde , Sep 14 2015 10:00AM
