Description for B&B:

Located near the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park and just one hour away from the breathtaking gorges of Ardeche and the Chauvet cave, the Little Convent of the Benedictines is a historical gem that dates back to 1346. It was built by Lord Bermond of Anduze and is situated on the outskirts of Chomérac, in the heart of the fertile Payre valley. Surrounded by the majestic mountains and the stunning basaltic Coiron Grads limestone, the area offers numerous scenic trails that the owners are more than happy to guide you through.

The village itself is a charming representation of the Ardèche region, with its close proximity to the Rhone Valley. Nearby attractions include the hamlet of Taverna, the quaint Romanesque church of St-Martin-le-Supérieur, the picturesque Lavezon Valley, and the captivating villages of Meysse and Saint-Vincent-du-Barres.

During your stay at the Little Convent or its annexes, which are conveniently located 800m from the village center and shops, you will have the freedom to immerse yourself in the artistic and creative ambiance created by the owners. She is an actress and artist, while he is a doctor and sculptor.

The accommodation offers double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and toilets, ensuring refined comfort and tranquility. A generous kitchen is also available, providing breakfast (included) and the option for a delectable dinner at an additional cost of 25 per person. For some relaxation, the indoor pool and jacuzzi can be reserved for private use.

To the east, in the annexes above the pool, you will find a 25 m² room with a large bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a serene garden view. In the center of the annexes, also above the pool, a 45 m² room awaits, featuring a spacious bed, vaulted ceilings, and the option for 2 additional beds at an extra charge. This room is equipped with a bathroom that includes a shower and toilet.

For a more authentic experience, you can opt for the convent room. Located on the upper floor of the convent, this 15 m² room boasts vaulted ceilings, a comfortable bed, and an adjoining bathroom with a shower and toilet. The room overlooks the peaceful inner courtyard.

Free parking is available in the garden, but there is also the option of securing a closed garage at an additional cost.

Appréciations pour Le Petit Couvent, Chomérac:

Un séjour très agréable
Review by: Jean-Pierre Cattelain, Mai 24 2024 1:01PM
