Situated independently on the ground floor of a historic medieval house, you will have access to your own terrace and BBQ in the charming yard. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, ensuring a tranquil stay. Additionally, there is a free car park conveniently located nearby. This flat is an ideal choice for tourists looking to explore the magnificent LOIRE valley and enjoy cycling. Bikes are available for shorter stays, allowing you to easily explore the area. You can easily explore Tours on foot from our cozy flat, enjoying the unique experience of crossing the river on the pedestrian and cyclist-only "Pont de fil" suspension bridge, particularly breathtaking at dawn or sunset. The charming old town of Tours, with its shops, restaurants, cathedral, and historical sites, is just a ten-minute walk away, while the train station is a convenient 20-minute stroll. If you have heavy luggage, worry not - we will provide transportation for you.
Our comfortable basement-level flat, located in a historic Tuffeau house with charming beams, faces south and offers a private terrace in the courtyard for your enjoyment. The kitchen is separate from the bedroom/living room, and the high-quality convertible sofa from 2016 provides ample space for dancing to your favorite tunes on the hi-fi sound system (compatible with your iPod).
Bed linen, towels, and tea towels are available at an additional cost of six euros per person per stay. The bathroom is well-equipped to meet all your needs, and the fitted kitchen has everything you require. We warmly welcome babies and young children, providing a bed, chair, and crockery for their comfort. You will have internet access and a mobile phone if needed, along with cable TV offering both French and foreign channels. A large car park, bus stop, shops, cafes, and restaurants are just a minute away.
This historical neighborhood by the Loire River, with its charming "Loire à vélo" cycling track, is perfect for a relaxing jog or a picnic in the lovely riverside park, which also features tennis grounds. If we are available, we would be delighted to welcome you with a glass of the famous local VOUVRAY sparkling wine, produced just 5 km away. You may even have the opportunity to enjoy a jacuzzi at our place (for a small fee), allowing you to unwind and engage in conversation with us.
Bikes are available for touring the city, free of charge. The flat is completely independent, except for the shared courtyard among the various tenants. You will have access to a designated space for bikes and garden furniture, as well as a washing machine.
I am here to assist you with anything you need, whether it's renting a car, finding something special, or providing advice on your visits. If you desire ultimate relaxation, a jacuzzi is also available at my place (for a small fee), giving you the opportunity to unwind and chat with us, if we are around and available.

The local community, complete with a grocery store, bakery, butcher, newsagents, bus stop, and the charming footbridge over the LOIRE River, creates a picturesque village-like ambiance.
A bus stop is conveniently located just 100 meters away, offering direct access to and from the train station and city center via bus number 17. Alternatively, a 12-minute walk will take you to the tramway, providing easy transportation to the city center and train station. If available, I can also offer pick-up service from the bus/train station or tram stop, or even the airport.
Multiple parking options, mostly free, can be found within a maximum distance of 200 meters.
