Nestled in the charming southwest region of Tours, Ballan-Miré is now part of the vibrant Tours-Val-de-Loire metropolis. This enchanting location offers our guests the chance to experience the idyllic beauty of the Touraine countryside, where the gentle allure of nature harmonizes with the ancient allure of castle walls.
Imagine jogging along the picturesque riverbanks of the Cher or strolling around the serene shores of Lac des Bretonnières. Perhaps you'd prefer indulging in a round of golf at a prestigious course adjacent to a more accessible one? There are also opportunities for horseback riding, disc-golf, tree climbing, or simply taking leisurely walks, just to name a few activities available within a two-kilometer radius.
Our family has proudly owned this estate since 1753, when La Fuye was bestowed upon us as a wedding gift. We honor this cherished legacy by continually seeking new ways to enrich the domain. Surrounding our residence, you will discover a historically significant region adorned with magnificent architecture and breathtaking landscapes, reminiscent of untouched wilderness, such as the serene riverbanks of the Loire. Our house is conveniently located on the Tours-Villandry route, close to the renowned "Loire à vélo" cycling path. Additionally, we are in close proximity to a dozen extraordinary castles, including Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais, and over thirty other highly notable castles, such as Chenonceau, Amboise, Loches, and Rigny-Ussé. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to stay near a UNESCO World Heritage Site, amidst a natural sanctuary that we are committed to respecting and preserving.
