Description for B&B:

Welcome to "Takeyama" guest house, also known as "The Bamboo Mountain," where my love for mountain landscapes and Japanese culture comes to life. I hope that your stay at Takeyama will be a special occasion for you to indulge in these passions. Whether you seek a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled vacation, our guest house offers a wide range of activities to suit your preferences.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding area, with shopping opportunities in the stunning ski stations of Chamonix or Megève, as well as the chance to explore forests, lakes, and indulge in climbing or skiing, tailored to your skill level.

Located in the quaint village of Domancy, Takeyama is nestled amidst the awe-inspiring Mont-Blanc, Aravis massif, and the peak of Warens. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese guest houses, known as "Ryokan," our home combines modern touches with the subtle charm of these establishments. Expect to find natural materials like tatami mats, sliding doors made of wood, and authentic Japanese furniture, all adorned with rice paper, creating a harmonious blend of comfort and tranquility after a day of adventure in our magnificent mountains.

Appréciations pour Takeyama Ryokan, Domancy:

Une halte japonaise bien agréable
Review by: Olivier, Aou 22 2012 6:19PM

From there, you can easily rent a car, take a taxi, or catch a bus to reach us. The nearest railway station to our guest house is Sallanches, which is just 3 km away.
