Situated in a peaceful hamlet of nine houses (Mas) in the town of Carver, just 5 km from Belvès in the beautiful Black Perigord region, this cottage offers a serene retreat. Perched on a hill, it provides stunning views of the surrounding valleys and the medieval village of Belvès. Housed in a 250m² barn of an old Perigourdine farm, it has been lovingly renovated using traditional materials and techniques.With its ability to comfortably accommodate 12 people, the cottage is perfect for families and friends looking to spend quality time together without feeling crowded. The ground floor features a spacious living/dining room of 70m², complete with a traditional stone fireplace, TV, library, and hi-fi system. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, and more. Large windows open onto a south-facing terrace of 75m², which is sheltered from the sun by sails. Here, a large wooden table and barbecue provide an ideal setting for leisurely meals.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with 2 beds of 90cm and an en-suite bathroom designed to accommodate disabled guests. Upstairs, a wide corridor can serve as a playful space and is adorned with a beautifully carved wooden rocking horse. This corridor leads to four bedrooms: three spacious bedrooms with family furniture and windows overlooking the south-facing valleys, and one bedroom featuring a double bed, shower, and toilet. Another bedroom offers two single beds and two bunk beds, along with a bathroom and separate toilet. The third bedroom boasts an old Walnut bed, and it shares a bathroom and toilet with the fourth bedroom, which is equipped with two beds and offers a wide selection of books and games for children. Upon request, a cot can be provided in one of the rooms. Additionally, there is a laundry room on the upper floor, complete with a washing machine and ironing board.
Overall, this cottage is a true haven of tranquility, offering comfortable accommodations and breathtaking views in the heart of the Black Perigord region.

Directions
To reach your destination, use your navigation cards or other means of navigation and follow the D703 road in the direction of Bergerac to Souillac. Once you arrive, you will find the cities of St Cyprien in the Périgord or Siorac. From St Cyprien, continue for approximately 7 km and then turn left onto the D53 road towards Saint Germain de Belves, Thrush, and St. Lawrence. If you pass under a railway bridge and reach a roundabout, you have arrived in Siorac.
If you are coming from Bergerac and Périgueux, follow the D53 road towards Sarlat from the roundabout in Siorac. After about 200 meters, the D53 road will be the first road on your right. Follow this road along the golf course until you reach a T junction at the end of the road (approximately 4 km). Turn left towards Milandes Castle and Castle Castelnaud. After about 800 meters, take the first small road on the right, which is marked by a sign with a parrot. This road will take you uphill, passing a small village with a castle. At the top of the hill, you will see a small sign on the right side of the road that says "The Farmhouse." The Garipiere, which is a set of buildings, is located just after the sign on the right. Congratulations, you have arrived!
