Our B&B is located in a rural area, offering a unique opportunity to explore the richness of our region, taste regional products, and meet local people. The Calvados region, known for its beautiful landscapes and architecture, as well as its numerous tourist sites, provides a diverse range of places to visit. From the Bessin area, famous for the D-Day Landings, to the half-timbered houses of Pays d'Auge and the wild gorges of La Suisse Normande, there is something for everyone.
In the surrounding areas, you can enjoy activities such as walking, fishing, motor biking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, paragliding, golfing, and fishing. There are also numerous way-marked and unmarked walking paths, with Roche d'Oëtre being a favorite among visitors. Nearby towns like Thury Harcourt, Clecy, and Le Vey are worth a visit, and Bagnole de l'Orne is particularly beautiful in spring and summer with its abundance of hanging baskets and flower displays. The town also offers a casino by the lake and a variety of restaurants. The castle at Carrouges is just a short drive away.
Surrounded by history and nature, whether you are passing through or planning a longer stay, your time at La Ferme Bed & Breakfast will be luxurious, comfortable, and memorable. Our tranquil and peaceful setting ensures a relaxing getaway, with the only sound being the birdsong. During your stay, you can also admire the beautiful dahlia display on the terraces opposite the house, which provides fresh cut flowers from July until the first frost.
We provide plenty of tourist information leaflets, maps, and recommended routes for you to explore. Additionally, we can suggest our favorite local restaurants.
Please note that we have a strict no-smoking policy, and while our current accommodation does not have wheelchair facilities due to the age and structure of the house, it is located on the garden/parking level for easier access. Parking is available directly in front of the door.
