Le Mont Dore, described by the Rough Guide as a "wholesome and civilized" destination, is a charming spa town and a hub for both winter and summer sports. It serves as an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts such as walkers, cyclists, skiers (during winter), and anyone who loves nature.Conveniently located just a 5-8 minute walk from the town center, we offer easy access to a variety of affordable cafes, restaurants, and recreational activities. These include riding stables, a summer luge, an ice rink, and an indoor bowling alley. Additionally, there are numerous outdoor pursuits to enjoy, such as hiking, cycling, accrobranche (a thrilling adventure park in the forest), and skiing and snowshoeing during the winter season. Our team is more than happy to assist with arranging guides and equipment rental.
All of our rooms are en-suite, and guests can unwind on our terrace or in the cozy lounge area. We provide comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast accommodation without any high season surcharges. The room rate for two people sharing is 64 euros, 46 euros for single occupancy, and for families, our spacious family room can accommodate two adults and two children under 18 for just 74 euros.
For those who prefer to dine in, we offer convenient amenities such as two barbecues on the terrace, a small fridge, a microwave/grill, and a grill/raclette in the dining room. Additionally, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, wine, and beer for our valued guests.

Directions
There is a frequent train/autocar service available from Clermont Ferrand to Le Mont Dore. It is only a 20-minute drive from Junction 25 of the A89 and approximately 40 minutes from the A75.
