Description:

Description for B&B:

Nestled amidst a lush park filled with ancient trees, just 400 meters away from the sparkling sea, the enchanting Domain of the "Eolienne" eagerly awaits your arrival in Carqueiranne, promising an unforgettable holiday experience on the beautiful azure coast.

Originally built in the early 19th century and tastefully refurbished in 2009, this charming country house can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 guests. Boasting its own expansive 1400 square meter garden, the property enjoys a truly ideal location. Surrounded by nature yet conveniently close to urban areas (only 20 kilometers from Toulon and 5 kilometers from Hyères), you will bask in the glorious sunshine that graces this region for an average of 300 days per year, allowing you to fully appreciate all the wonders this area has to offer, from exploring the diverse attractions to simply relishing the pristine beaches.

The domain takes its name from its historical connection to a bygone windmill, which once served the purpose of pumping water from a well into a cistern. This ingenious system of water collection and storage played a vital role in a region prone to droughts, ensuring the prosperity of the surrounding farmlands. Sadly, the windmill was destroyed during the tumultuous times of the Second World War. However, the avenue leading to the house still proudly bears its name: the avenue of the Valley of the wind turbine.
