La Maison des Lys is a charming Maison de Maître, originally built in 1817 and located just 200 meters away from the town square in Valence sur Baïse. This bastide village, dating back to 1274, sits proudly on a bluff overlooking the picturesque River Baïse. Additionally, it is conveniently situated only 8 km away from the renowned Armagnac market town of Condom.The surrounding area offers an abundance of attractions, including a wealth of historical sites, wineries, and charming towns and villages, all of which are easily accessible by a short drive.
Our accommodation features four spacious bedrooms, each equipped with a modern and stylish bath or shower room. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a delightful meal in the tranquil ambiance of the garden's east-facing terrace, cleverly integrated into the town's ancient ramparts. The breakfast menu includes a selection of options such as orange juice, cereals, farm-fresh boiled eggs served with crusty French bread straight from Valence's artisan bakers, croissants, pains au chocolat, creamy butter, and homemade jams. To complete the morning ritual, guests can savor a cup of coffee from a cafetière, a pot of tea, or indulge in a hot chocolate.
