Directions
When traveling from the ports along the northern French coast, we always go in the direction of Rennes, Nantes, and then Bordeaux. Along this route, we bypass all the towns until we reach the A10. Take exit 34 at St. Jean d'Angely and bypass the town. This will lead you onto the D939, heading towards Angouleme. Continue on the D939 until you reach the charming village of Siecq. Once in the village center, turn left at the small crossroads next to the bar. Keep going for about 1 kilometer, passing the sign "Coucoussac". Stay on the road, keeping left, and you will enter Rue de Bellevue. After 50 meters, you will see a large arch in a high stone wall – and voila! You have arrived. If you are coming from any other direction, find the D939 (the main route between La Rochelle and Angouleme) and look for Siecq, which is located midway between Matha and Rouillac. From Siecq, follow the directions mentioned above.
