Welcome to the charming town of Loches, where centuries of history and architecture are still preserved. With its medieval and Renaissance heritage, including the Keep, the Former Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame now St Ours, the Royal Apartments, and the Chancellery, Loches offers a glimpse into 1000 years of French history.Located at the heart of the Touraine region, known as the "Frances garden," Loches is surrounded by vineyards, gastronomy, vegetables, and cheese. Within just 100 km, you can explore some of the most famous châteaux of the Loire Valley, such as Chenonceau, Chambord, Amboise, Chinon, and Villandry.
Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a family vacation, our recently renovated property offers a charming apartment and a lovely studio. Together, they provide the comfort of an apartment with the convenience of breakfast service.
The apartment features an entrance hall with a sofa-bed, television, and DVD player. The salon dining room includes a sofa, library, and a double table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all necessary cooking utensils. The bedroom offers a double bed and a single bed, while the bathroom has a separate bathtub and toilet.
The studio includes a main room with a kitchen area, a bed, and a television with TNT and DVD player. The bathroom features a unique shower design with a small wall of protection and a tent, making it easier to bathe babies using the provided little bath.
We offer various free services, including bed linen, towels, baby equipment upon request, high-speed internet access, and utilities. Small pets are also allowed with prior approval. Additionally, we provide laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, as well as a garden area for drying clothes in the sun. Other amenities include cleaning supplies, electrical adapters, a hairdryer, and taxi services from the Loches station to the apartment or car rental garage.
For your convenience, we offer additional services upon request, such as lunch packets, fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery in the morning, cleaning services, and taxi transfers from the Tours or Amboise stations. We also provide babysitting services for evenings when you wish to enjoy a romantic dinner or a night out at the theater.

Directions
If you are arriving by car from the motorway, you have three options:
1. If you are on the A85, take exit number 11 for Bléré/Amboise/Loches. Follow the D31 south for 21 km until you reach Loches.
2. If you are on the A20, take exit number 13 for Tours/Buzançais. Follow the D943 northwest for 64 km until you reach Loches.
3. If you are on the A10, take exit number 25 for Sainte Maure-de-Touraine/Chinon/Loches. Follow the D760 east for 32 km until you reach Loches.
Once you arrive in Loches, always follow the signs for the "Château". Pass through the Poitevine Port and you will find yourself on Mail de la Poterie, the main road in the city. On your left, you will see the old houses of the citadel, and on your right, you will find parking at the base of the walls. Congratulations, you have arrived!
If you are arriving by air, there are two options:
1. If you are landing in Paris, visit www.aeroportsdeparis.fr for information on taking the TGV train to Tours St. Pierre des Corps from Charles de Gaulle airport. From there, you can make connections to other airports.
2. If you are landing in Tours, visit www.tours.aeroport.fr for information on flights from London Stansted, Manchester, Southampton, Dublin, Porto, Marseille, Figari, and Ajaccio. From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus to Tours station and then catch a train to Loches. Alternatively, you can rent a car.
If you are arriving by train from Tours or Châteauroux, you can find all the necessary information at www.trains-horaires.com/gares/loches. Please note that upon request, one of the free services available is a transfer from the Loches station to the apartment or car rental garage. Loches station also offers a TER ticket machine, bus and coach services, and parking. The train lines that serve Loches station are Tours and Châteauroux.
