This charming cottage is situated in a picturesque forest location directly on Lake Nissången, just 15 km from the center of Malung in Dalarna. It is conveniently located 350 km from Stockholm, 420 km from Göteborg, and 710 km from Malmö.

The cottage offers a tranquil setting with direct access to the lake for swimming, and there is a nearby sandy beach that is perfect for small children. A spacious sun deck facing south and west provides a stunning 180 degree view of the lake, allowing you to keep an eye on any swimming children.

The cottage itself has a rustic charm, with no electricity. Lighting is provided by candles and oil lamps, while drinking water is collected from a well on the property.

Inside, the living room features a cozy fireplace, and a large dining table is positioned by a set of windows that offer magnificent views of the lake. In the back of the room, there is a double bed.

The main bedroom has two bunk beds in the traditional Dalecarlian style, providing a total of four beds. Additional twin beds are available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen, although lacking running water, is equipped with a wood stove, LPG stove and oven, and an LPG fridge.

A log house located directly on the beach houses a wood-fired sauna, a simple shower, and a relaxation room with breathtaking views of the lake. It also features a two-level sun deck and a pier that extends into the lake.

The boathouse contains a woodshed, a rowboat, and two bicycles. Safety vests in both adult and children sizes are also provided. There is a separate privy with a lake view.

For fishing enthusiasts, there are excellent opportunities to catch perch and pike in the lake.

Please note that during the peak season (late June, July, and August), the minimum rental period is two weeks, with a changeover day on Saturdays.

Weekly rates vary depending on the season, ranging from SEK 5500-6200 in the low season to SEK 6900-7600 in the high season. Firewood, LPG gas, a rowboat, and two standard bicycles are included in the rental price.

Guests are expected to leave the cottage clean and tidy, and cleaning materials are provided. Additional services such as final cleaning, bed linen, and towels are available at an extra cost.
