Explore the nearby Fontainebleau Castle, the renowned village of Barbizon where many famous painters resided, and the Chapel of Simple, a significant place for Jean Cocteau. Take a short drive to the charming village of Milly la Forêt, featuring a fifteenth-century hall. And don't miss the fortified village of Moret sur Loing, with its picturesque pedestrian main street.
Nearby, you can discover Samois sur Seine, a delightful port along the Seine River, nestled on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest. This is where Victor Hugo and numerous writers and artists found inspiration. It is also the final resting place of Django Reinhardt.
