Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau", a charming 17th-century cottage that has been completely renovated. This enchanting getaway is located just a few kilometers away from the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both of which are classified as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.

Situated at the entrance of Montolieu, a picturesque book village, and nestled on the banks of a river, this character-filled cottage offers a delightful retreat. The cozy living/dining room features a fireplace and a convertible sofa, while the fully equipped kitchen boasts a beautifully carved stone vault and a large bay window that opens onto a sunny terrace of 30m2. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the river and the garden.

The cottage comprises two double bedrooms, with a 1m60 bed in one and a 1m40 bed in the other. The bathroom is equipped with an authentic bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC. Additionally, you can make use of the free WIFI connection, barbecue on the terrace, play petanque with the provided balls, and even go trout fishing on-site. For those seeking more active pursuits, there is a municipal swimming pool and tennis court just 1km away.
