Welcome to Les Marmottes, a charming lodging located in Ornon Village, 38520 ORNON. With a size of 60 square meters, this accommodation has been awarded two ears by the lodgings of France, ensuring a comfortable stay for up to 6 people.

The lodging features two bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed (140cm) and an additional bedroom with a set of bunk beds and an additional single bed (90cm). If needed, an extra bedroom can also be rented.

Inside, you will find a spacious living room (20m²) with a TV and VCR, connected to a small kitchen equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, gas stove, and microwave. The bathroom includes a bathtub, and there is a separate toilet. Additionally, there is a shared laundry room with a washer, dryer, and freezer.

Situated on the outskirts of the village, this character house is attached to the owner's residence and another lodging that can accommodate up to 5 people. There is an option to rent both lodgings together, accommodating a total of 11 people, with a 10% discount during non-peak seasons.

Outside, a large terrace of 150 square meters awaits you, complete with shade, a pool, garden furniture, a barbecue, and breathtaking views of the valley and the Col d'Ornon. Just 50 meters away, there are swings available for your enjoyment. The lodging is located within the perimeter of the Parc des Ecrins, offering ample opportunities for outdoor activities.

For winter enthusiasts, the Col d'Ornon ski station is only a 5-minute drive away, while Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes are within reach at 35 minutes and 45 minutes respectively. Fishing enthusiasts will also find opportunities in the nearby valley (permit required), and there are two swimming pools located at a distance of 10km and 20km.

With numerous walking trails starting right from the house, Les Marmottes offers the perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Bernard et son épouse sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Environs magnifiques. Belles randos à faire. Produits locaux excellents : Bergerie de la Lignarre (fromages, viande...) à La Pallud. Bon séjour d'une semaine en avril. Le gîte du dessus est plus lumineux.

Directions

Before reaching Bourg d'Oisans, turn right. Drive for 6 km until you see the hamlet called "la Pallud". Continue for another 2 km until you reach "Le Pont des Oulles". Make sure not to pass this bridge! 20 meters before the bridge, turn right and drive for 800 meters until you arrive at the hamlet "la Poyat". Keep going for 2 km and you will reach the parking area of ORNON. Leave your car here temporarily and walk for 30 meters along the alleyway. The house, with 7 Velux windows on the roof, will be on your right-hand side. Go around the house and you will find Dominique and Bernard LEFEBVRE, your landlords, waiting to welcome you.
