Welcome to Chez Providence Rooms and Table d'hôtes + Studio. We offer five beautiful bedrooms with private bathrooms, accommodating a maximum of 15 guests. Our rooms are suitable for couples, families, and groups. Additionally, we have a vacation studio available.Our establishment is situated in a charming and tranquil medieval village, nestled in the heart of the Montagne Noire in Cathar Country. Here, you can immerse yourself in history by visiting Cathar castles such as La Cité at Carcassonne, Lastours, Saissac, and Hautpoul, as well as explore preserved villages. If you prefer outdoor activities, you can hike through forests or enjoy a refreshing swim in nearby lakes. Our region offers a serene and unspoiled environment.
The guest living/dining room leads to a sunny terrace, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of our peaceful and sunny garden and the valley of the river Dure. We provide complimentary Wi-Fi, a courtesy tray, heating, and air conditioning for your comfort.
A delicious breakfast is included in your stay. Additionally, we offer the option of indulging in our table d'hôtes, which requires prior reservation. Dinner is priced at 32 euros per person, with children under 12 years old receiving a half-price discount. For special occasions such as Christmas and New Year's Eve, we offer a dinner option priced at 70 euros per person, with children under 12 years old receiving a half-price discount.
For your convenience, we provide a kitchenette equipped with a fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board, and sewing kit, allowing you to prepare snacks at your leisure.
Our rooms can accommodate 2 to 4 additional beds per room at a rate of 22 euros per bed. We also offer a free cot for children under 3 years old, subject to room choice and availability.

- La Fleur de Lys: A suite with two bedrooms, ideal for couples, families, or friends. It offers a private bathroom and two bedrooms in a 40m² space. Priced at 85 euros for 2 people.
- La Chambre du Château: A romantic and tranquil room with a shower room, lounge area with TV, and a sunny furnished private terrace. Suitable for 1 to 2 people in a 35m² space. Priced at 95 euros for 2 people.
- Le Studio du Château (vacation studio): A calm and romantic retreat with a lounge area, TV, shower room, and a private furnished sunny terrace. Suitable for 1 to 2 people in a 35m² space. Priced at 325 euros per week for 2 people and 1 baby.

Welcome to The Studio Chateau, a charming self-catering garden level accommodation perfect for 1 to 2 people, including a baby. This studio exudes character with its exposed stone walls, high ceiling, and beautiful hardwood floors.Upon arrival, you will have access to a private and sunny terrace furnished with a table and chairs, providing a delightful space for relaxation. Inside the studio, you will find an open and spacious room that includes a comfortable bed area, a cozy lounge with a TV, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area.
To access the luxurious tiled shower room, you will climb slate steps, where you will discover a double sink, a mirror, and a large shower, ensuring a pleasant and refreshing experience.
In addition to the studio, you will also have the privilege of enjoying the large communal sunny garden, shared with our B&B guests. This inviting outdoor space offers sun beds, as well as a table and chairs, creating the perfect environment for relaxation and socializing.
Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights, with rates starting at 185 euros. For a 4-night stay, the rate is 225 euros, while a 5-night stay is priced at 255 euros. Similarly, a 6-night stay is available for 290 euros, and a 7-night stay for 325 euros. If you choose to extend your stay for each consecutive week, the rate will be 300 euros.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Chambre de Rose which was comfortable, well appointed and with good en-suite shower. Had optional dinner - good honest regional cuisine, beautifully cooked.

To reach our location, follow these revised travel directions: Our place is conveniently situated just a 20-minute drive from both Mazamet and Carcassonne Airport. Begin your journey by taking the D118 road and continue along this route until you reach Cuxac-Cabardès. Once you arrive at Cuxac-Cabardès, enter the village and proceed onto rue de la Poste. From there, turn onto rue de la Piala, and you'll find us on the right-hand side at No. 9.
