To secure your room booking, a ten-pound deposit is required. You can pay the deposit on our secure server website: http://www.centralguesthouse.com. Please note that if you pay with a debit card, there will be an additional 3% charge. We do not accept cheques as payment.

We have a 5-day cancellation policy. If you do not cancel your room(s) within this timeframe, the full amount for the booked room(s) and day(s) will be charged. If you booked through an agency, you must cancel the booking with them directly. Failure to do so will result in being charged the full amount for the room(s) and day(s) booked.

All account(s) must be paid upon arrival either in cash or with a credit card. We do not accept cheques.

The room price includes a full or vegetarian breakfast.

To reach Central Guesthouse from Birmingham International Airport or International Railway Station, you can take a black cab taxi outside of the terminal or catch the (900) bus, which runs every half hour. When on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Swan Centre. We are a short walk down the road from there.

If you are arriving by car, take junction (4 M6) or junction (6 M42) heading towards Birmingham International Airport. Continue straight on at the overhead set of traffic lights, passing Sheldon and the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Keep going up the hill until you reach Macdonalds, Mr Spice Pub & Restaurant, a row of shops, Michaels Super Market, and a row of houses. Cross the clay lane pedestrian crossing, and you will find us on the left in the pull-in area.

If you are coming from Birmingham City Centre, catch the (58 or 60) bus from the bus stop near Marks & Spencer's Store. Ask the driver to inform you when you reach the Swan Centre Yardley.

Local attractions to visit include Blaksley Hall, Sea Life Centre, Cadbury World, Drayton Manor Park & Zoo, The Old Black Country Museum, Warwick Castle, and Stratford upon Avon. You can find a map and directions to Central Guesthouse on our website: http//www.centralguesthouse.com

Central Guesthouse Access Introduction:

At our 5-bedroom guesthouse, we aim to accommodate the needs of most visitors. However, please be aware that due to the building's construction, there are some restrictions. This is an ordinary house being used for a different purpose than it was originally built for. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at 0121 7067757.

To access our guesthouse, there are 2 large 7" steps up to the front porch, followed by another 7" step into the front entrance hallway. All bedrooms are located on the first and second floors. The first floor bedrooms require climbing 16 steps to reach a small landing, while the second floor bedrooms require an additional fifteen steps and a small landing. Please note that there is no lift available.
