Description for B&B:

Carpe Diem, a charming guest house, welcomes you to its doors in the heart of Yonne in Burgundy, near Avallon. This former 18th and 19th century farm is located in the peaceful village of Massangis, known for its stone quarry and the tranquil river Serein.

The renowned stone of Massangis has been used in iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower, Abbey of Fontenay, Grand Louvre, Musée dOrsay, Opera Garnier, the MET of New York, and Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo.

Our guest house offers 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms with a "family spirit". The larger rooms feature king size beds, and you can choose between an Italian shower or an Island bath for your comfort.

The property also boasts an enclosed garden and courtyard, providing a safe parking space for your car. Breakfast is included in your stay.

Every night, except for Thursdays, we invite you to join us for a delightful dinner at our table d'hôtes. Please make sure to book in advance to secure your spot.
