Our guest houses are available for your use, located in a peaceful area within the Regional Park of Pilat. Situated at an altitude of 600 meters, they offer a magnificent view of the Alps and the Ardèche mountains. You will enjoy all the necessary comforts, including a private bathroom and toilet, a double bed measuring 160cm, television, and WiFi access. Breakfast is provided with local and regional products, and parking and a garden are also available. There is also an outdoor spa for your relaxation.For pilgrims on the way to St James of Compostella, we offer additional services such as luggage transport to your next destination and laundry services.
With our Rhône-Alpes certified guides, we can offer guided tours of the region based on your interests. We are located near the culturally rich cities of Annonay, Vienne, Lyon, and St Etienne. Our region has preserved the remnants of Roman civilization, and we can guide you to visit their aqueducts, temples, amphitheaters, or simply explore villages like Roman St Gal with its beautiful mosaics.
Every year on December 8th, we organize special visits for the Festival of Lights in Lyon, which are personalized experiences.
From your bed and breakfast, you have access to numerous hiking trails that traverse the Regional Natural Reserve of Pilat. You can explore these trails on foot, by mountain bike, or on horseback, and discover various types of forests and fir trees. Nearby, you can visit the Chapel of St Sabin, an ancient Celtic site, or the small Chartreuse of Sainte-Croix in Jarrez. During winter, you can enjoy skiing or Nordic skiing in the nearby Bessas station. Within a 15km radius, there are facilities for various sports such as canoeing, water skiing, golf, horseback riding, paragliding, and fishing. Afterward, you can relax at a spa or sauna and enjoy massage services.
Just a few kilometers away, you can visit the medieval village of Malleval and explore the Rhône Valley. Here, you can visit the vineyards of famous wines such as St Joseph, Condrieu, and Roasted Rib. If you are a cycling enthusiast, you can join the ViaRhôna trail, which takes you from Geneva to the Camargue without encountering any cars, following the Rhône River and its lagoons.

Nous remercions très sincèrement Julie et Maurice de leur accueil ainsi que du partage de leurs savoirs lors de nombreux échanges. Nous avons passé un très bon moment "Aux Sources de Lugus" où tout a été très agréable. Le restaurant réservé, par leurs soins, à notre arrivée dans ce petit village de Véranne, tout en pierres, nous a ravis. Nous avons apprécié également les petits déjeuners où nous avons pu discuté ensemble. Nous ne manquerons pas de vous recommander auprès de nos amis qui apprécieront, à sa juste valeur votre accueil et votre chaleur humaine.

To reach Aux Sources de Lugus from the North, take the A7 highway towards Lyon. Exit at Ampuis Condrieu and continue on the D386 towards Ampuis, Condrieu, Chavanay, and St Pierre de Boeuf. At the entrance of St Pierre de Boeuf, turn right onto the D503 towards Lupé and Maclas. Follow the signs to Véranne from the center of Maclas.
