Description for B&B:

The Kerbeleg B&B is conveniently located a short 10-minute drive from the picturesque city of painters, Pont-Aven, and just 15 minutes away from the beautiful beaches. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this stunning 15th-century stone house is surrounded by a sprawling 2-hectare park.

Originally built using stones from a castle dating back to the 15th century, this historic property has undergone various extensions and renovations over the years, transforming it from a manor house to a working farm, and now into a charming B&B. The hostess, a passionate history enthusiast, can satisfy your thirst for knowledge about the place, as a book detailing recent research on the site's past through Breton history is available to peruse in each room.

The B&B features two spacious and comfortable bedrooms that have been tastefully renovated while maintaining the spirit of the house that has been in the family for six decades. Each room offers a picturesque view of the park, facing south to maximize natural light.

The owner, in collaboration with talented local craftsmen, has thoughtfully redesigned Kerbeleg as a bed and breakfast, using carefully selected materials and reinvented layouts. The farmhouse is centered around the cathedral lounge, boasting a grand fireplace ideal for relaxation and reading. Adjacent to the lounge is the billiard room, a generously-sized living space with exposed stone floors and beams.

A magnificent stone staircase leads from the billiard room to the two comfortable bedrooms on the landing. Each bedroom has its own shower room, while a separate WC is conveniently located on the landing.

One of the bedrooms, named the BIRDS room, features a large original granite fireplace, as well as a small adjoining bedroom suitable for two children. The other bedroom, Les OURS, offers a breathtaking view of the park. Additionally, there is La Maison à PAIN, a charming room for a couple that was once the estate's bread oven, complete with a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

The farmhouse also offers a well-equipped kitchen for those seeking a gourmet break, featuring modern amenities and a large solid wood monastery table for breakfast. On the other side of the living room, behind another impressive fireplace, is the leisure room and library, complete with table football and a card table. This provides a perfect space to unwind on rainy days or after a long hike.

During sunny weather, guests can enjoy dining on the terrace overlooking the park. Early risers may even catch a glimpse of deer, pheasants, and other wildlife at dawn.

Situated less than 10 minutes from the motorway, Kerbeleg provides easy access to the peaceful and scenic countryside. It is also conveniently located near numerous cultural sites and tourist attractions in the region, including the city of sailing, Lorient, Quimper, Concarneau with its charming old town, and many quaint ports. Whether exploring the abers of South Finistère or visiting the stunning granite sites, Kerbeleg serves as the perfect base for a multitude of activities during your stay.
