Located in the heart of Normandy, Joug d'Antan is the perfect base for exploring the historic D-Day landing beaches, the charming town of Bayeux, and the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel. This charming gite offers a blend of original character and modern convenience.On the ground floor, you will find a spacious open-plan lounge with exposed beams and a stone wall, furnished with comfortable armchairs, a cozy sofa, and a TV with British and French channels. The fully equipped kitchen-dining area includes a ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, and a fridge/freezer.
The first floor boasts a cozy and spacious en-suite double bedroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Additionally, there is a large family bedroom with two full-sized single beds (which can be joined if preferred) and an adjoining bedroom with two single beds. This setup offers both comfort and privacy for larger groups or families. The en-suite bathroom features a bath with a shower above, a washbasin, and a toilet.
Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside from the south-facing gite, which is set in a half-acre enclosed garden complete with outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and a parasol.
Conveniently situated just 900 yards from the lively village of Percy, where you can find bakeries, a butcher, bar-cafés, restaurants, pubs, banks, a tourist office, a post office, doctors, and a chemist. The main tourist towns and sandy beaches, such as Avranches, Granville, Bréhal, Coutances, and St-Lo, are all easily accessible within a 25-minute drive.

Directions
If you are coming from Caen, take the A84 motorway towards Rennes/Mt-St-Michel and take exit Nr 38. Continue straight for 9km until you reach Percy centre.
If you are coming from Cherbourg, drive to Carentan, then St-Lo, and finally to Villedieu les Poêles (D999) until you reach Percy centre.
Once you are at Percy centre, follow the signs towards Hambye (D58). After 900 yards, you will see a yellow board on the left side of the road that says "Gite Joug dAntan".
If you are coming from Cherbourg, drive to Carentan, then St-Lo, and finally to Villedieu les Poêles (D999) until you reach Percy centre.
