Description:

Description for B&B:

The house is an 18th century "bastide" situated in a spacious garden with a swimming pool, gazebo, and fish pond. Its three rooms are each decorated according to different themes, featuring artifacts collected from various trips. The "Silk Road" room will transport you to the Indian subcontinent, the "Cocoa Road" room has an African setting, and the "Bastides Road" room is more Provençal in style.

Located on the border between Provence and Languedoc, facing the famous vineyards and cellars of Chateauneuf du Pape, the house is only 10 minutes away from the festival city of Avignon, and Orange with its renowned "chorégies" performances. Additionally, it is 20 minutes from Uzès and 30 minutes from Nîmes. For those interested in kayaking and canyoning, the canyons of the Ardèche and Cèze rivers are just 30 minutes away. Marseille and Montpellier airports are both approximately 1 hour away, and the TGV train station is a 15-minute drive from the house.

The house is ideally situated at the crossroads of all the region's tourist activities and cultural events, while still providing the tranquility of a small southern village. The hostess welcomes guests in French, English, Spanish, or Italian, offering a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine depending on the time of arrival.

The host is available to provide advice and information on ongoing activities and events to ensure guests have the best possible stay.

To ensure a comfortable stay for both guests and hosts, the following rules should be followed:

1) Check-in is from 16:00 onward, and check-out should be before 11:00. Kindly inform the host in advance if you will be arriving late.

2) Smoking is not allowed inside the house, but it is permitted in the garden while respecting the plants.

3) Pets are not allowed.

4) The room will be prepared prior to arrival, and the host will not enter the room during your stay to respect your privacy. If you require additional cleaning during your stay, there will be a fee of 20 €. If you stay for more than a week, housekeeping will be provided free of charge midway through your stay.

5) Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 11:00 in the garden, or in front of the fireplace in case of inclement weather. Earlier breakfast times can be arranged upon request.

6) The swimming pool is available for use from 8:00 to 22:00, and guests are responsible for their own safety while using the pool.

The "Road of Spices" room is a journey to Rajasthan, located in the cool old cellars and decorated with warm tones reminiscent of the Indian subcontinent. The room features a 160 bed, a small seating area, WiFi, TV, a small refrigerator, and a private bathroom and toilet. Guests have direct access to the shaded courtyard where breakfast is served under the linden tree during summer or in the dining room by the fireplace during winter.
