Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast of "Le Val du Roy" in Joinville. We offer four uniquely decorated guest rooms that transport you back in time. Experience the charm of canopy beds, antique furniture, traditional cupboards, and cozy alcoves, all surrounded by beams, wood paneling, and old floors. The rooms are adorned with ancient trinkets, giving the impression that this seventeenth-century haven has stood the test of time.While we value authenticity, we have also ensured modern comfort for our guests. Each room is equipped with glass basins and modern showers. Three shower rooms are cleverly hidden behind a screen, providing a private and spacious area for each room.
The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room boasts a canopy bed and alcove, along with a separate large bathroom featuring an antique bathtub and shower. This room can accommodate three people.
In the "Claude de Lorraine" room, you will find an old double bed, an antique wardrobe, and various decorative elements such as a baby-basket and an old sewing machine. The room also includes a shower, WC, and lavabo.
The "Jean de Joinville" room features two old corner beds, an antique wardrobe, and a double sink, along with a shower and toilet.
Lastly, the spacious "Mary Stuart" room offers a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa-bed for additional guests, a dressing table, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is located on the mezzanine level. Each room is equipped with a TV for your entertainment, and free WiFi is available throughout the house.
Guests are welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, and oven. A comfortable lounge area with a TV is also available for your relaxation.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville is situated in the department of Haute-Marne, between Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Once you reach Joinville, proceed towards Wassy and locate the Hotel du Nord on the main road. From there, continue uphill for a short distance and you'll find the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left, at 11 Rue Camille Gillet. Look for the entrance behind the cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You may park your car on the sidewalk, and the owners will provide instructions on where to park for loading and unloading luggage at 22 rue du Valleroy.
