Description for B&B:
Welcome to Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec," where we invite you to experience the charm and character of our high-quality guest rooms. Located on the border of Gers and Hautes-Pyrénées, near the towns of Trie-sur-Baïse and Castelnau Magnoac, our old farmhouse, built in the early 20th century, exudes warmth and hospitality.Inside the house, you'll find a spacious sitting room with a cozy open fire, wooden floors, and oak beams, as well as a charming "salle à manger." The house remains cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Upstairs, you'll discover three tastefully decorated, generously sized bedrooms. Each double room boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom, with varying styles and sizes.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in the dining room or, during warmer months, outside on the terrace or in the covered summer kitchen. We happily welcome dogs, and free wifi is available throughout the property. Additionally, our large 2.5-acre garden offers breathtaking views of the Gers valleys and Pyrenees mountains.
Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec" is conveniently located two and a half hours from the Mediterranean's golden, sun-drenched beaches and two hours from the Atlantic, including popular coastal resorts like Biarritz and St. Jean-de-Luz. The Spanish border and the Pyrenees mountains and ski resorts are less than an hour away. In this picturesque region, you can enjoy long walks, scenic bike or car rides, or even try paragliding. The possibilities for an active stay are endless.
Of course, we can't forget the gastronomical delights of the Gers region. Known for its duck, foie gras, and porc noir, as well as the excellent wines produced in the Madiran vineyards, we are excited to share these culinary treasures with our guests. Every night, we invite you to join our guest table for a four-course dinner featuring fresh and seasonal products from our region, accompanied by our carefully selected local wines.
We are eagerly anticipating your visit and the opportunity to meet you!
