Welcome to our beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse. We have taken great care to preserve the original features of the building while adding modern comforts. Our goal is to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Whether you prefer basking in the sun, relaxing in the shade, or savoring a bottle of wine on our terrace, we want you to feel at home. Our hosts, Carol and Ted, are dedicated to ensuring you have a memorable experience in the picturesque Berry countryside. Please note that our accommodations are not suitable for children under 12 years old.

At Aux Prés du Berry B&B, we are proud to offer a tranquil setting on our 2-acre property. With beautifully landscaped gardens, including fruit and vegetable patches that provide a bounty of fresh produce throughout the year, we encourage you to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Dining with us is a delightful experience, especially when weather permits alfresco meals under our garden pergola. Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal ingredients from our own garden. We are also able to accommodate special dietary needs and provide vegetarian options upon request.

For your convenience, we have a pet-friendly room located on the ground floor, ensuring easy access for your furry friends. Simply inform us in advance, and we will gladly welcome well-behaved pets if our pet-friendly room is available.

Our location offers both tranquility and accessibility. While providing a peaceful escape, we are also easily reachable from the motorway, making Aux Prés du Berry an ideal destination for a week-long holiday or a convenient stopover for travelers heading to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are located just 6 hours from Calais and a mere 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Additionally, the Limoges and Poitiers airports are within a 1-1.5 hour drive. If traveling by train, the main route from Paris to Toulouse stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.

Surrounded by an array of captivating tourist sites, our B&B is perfectly situated. The historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse is a short 8 km away, while Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), is within a 30 km radius. The Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district, known for their breathtaking views and water sports, are just a 20-minute drive away. For nature enthusiasts, the Brenne National Park is only minutes from our doorstep. We are dedicated to providing you with all the information you need to make the most of your stay in our region, and we are more than happy to assist in any way we can.
