My husband, a nurse, and I, a heavy vehicle driver, embarked on an ambitious project to renovate a 1929 mansion. Our goal was to bring modern comforts to this historic beauty and transform it into a stunning bed and breakfast. Located in the enchanting Livradois Forez in Auvergne, we have created two guest rooms, eight campsites, a treehouse, and two chalets amidst the picturesque forest.Nestled in a lush 6,400 m² wooded park, our site provides a tranquil living environment in the heart of the Thiers mountains. Situated just 10 km from Thiers, the renowned cutlery capital, and 50 km from Clermont-Ferrand & Vichy, our guests have easy access to explore the wonders of our beautiful region.
We named our house "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in the local Auvergnat dialect. The park boasts numerous natural springs and attracts a variety of wildlife, creating a captivating ambiance. We also have friendly pets that add to the warm atmosphere.
In addition to comfortable accommodations, we offer a library, board games, a charming henhouse, a garden, and ample spaces for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. You and your beloved pets will be warmly welcomed at our establishment.
