Description:

Description for B&B:

Our guesthouse is situated at 13 rue Darnel, behind the theater of Calais. The street is lined with stunning early twentieth-century mansions, and our guesthouse is one of the two semi-detached houses dating back to 1901. It has a Bourgeois appearance with oeil-de-boeuf in the attic.

Located in the heart of Calais center, our guesthouse is conveniently positioned in the axis of Calais-Nord, along rue Royale. From here, you can easily access the Place d'Armes with its restaurants and shops, just a 16-minute walk away. In fact, all the attractions of Calais are within walking distance, including the theater (1 min), the market on Place Crève-Coeur (9 min), the town hall and its belfry (12 min), and even the beach and the dragon (34 min).

For those arriving by train, there are three train stations within a 15-minute drive. The Calais - Fréthun train station, serving Eurostar and TGV, is just 7.5 km away, reachable in 13 minutes by car. The Calais-ville train station and the Fontinettes train station are both within a 12-minute walking distance or a 5-minute drive.

If you prefer biking, the VÉLIN - BIKE SHARE LOAN service is conveniently located next to the theater, just a 2-minute walk away. And if you plan on using public transportation, the bus station is right in front of our guesthouse. You'll be pleased to know that Calais buses are free to ride.

Your hosts, Nathalie, Laurent, their daughters, and their four cats, will warmly welcome you with a smile. Upon your arrival, they will offer you a refreshing or hot drink. They are dedicated to ensuring your comfort and are happy to provide you with information about Calais and the Opal Coast in French, Dutch, English, or German.
