Description:

Description for B&B:

The château de Mirvault is nestled in a picturesque park, surrounded by fields, copses, and a charming tree lined drive. It is a tranquil retreat, located on the banks of the Mayenne river. As you wander through the grounds, you may be delighted to spot red squirrels and rabbits. Nearby, there is a barrage where fishing enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite pastime. Additionally, we offer a boat for leisurely trips through the locks along the beautiful river.

Situated a kilometer outside the historic town of Château-gontier in the western Loire, just south of Normandy, our château has been a cherished part of our family for centuries. It exudes a sense of contentment and continuity, making it truly feel like a home away from home. Conveniently, it is easily accessible from most channel ports, only 20 km away from Laval, a short 45-minute drive from Angers, and within an hour's reach of the famous Le Mans racing circuit and the stunning Loire châteaux. For those traveling from Paris, it is a mere 3-hour journey.
