Description:

Description for B&B:

Françoise and Yves have lovingly restored the old village café from the nineteenth century. Today, it stands as a charming building adorned with turquoise shutters, a front pergola, and a secluded garden at the rear. The garden is nestled against a hill, adorned with a variety of trees and flowers.

Within the café, there are four comfortable bedrooms. One of them is uniquely located within the antique shop itself, featuring period decorations. The furniture in this room has been expertly restored by Yves, the talented cabinetmaker. The concept of guests sleeping amidst the treasures discovered in the region was the brainchild of Françoise.

The furniture throughout the shop has been meticulously restored, and the shop itself has been redecorated to blend modern touches with the collection of antique walnut chests of drawers from the time of Louis-Philippe, country tables, rustic cupboards, old glasses, slip pots, chandelier pendants, and glazed pottery. The sight of these remarkable pieces is sure to leave you delightfully dizzy.

Located above the carpenter's workshop is a light and airy room. The stairwell leading to it is adorned with posters collected by the owners over the years, many of which were acquired during the famous Hauterives annual jazz festival. The room exudes coziness, furnished with delightful charm. Additionally, a kettle, coffee, and fridge are conveniently available in the lobby.

The best BnB we've every stayed in
Review by: Teresa McCarthy , Juil 22 2023 9:23AM
Françoise and Yves have thought of everything and have added wonderful things such as homemade juice and conserves to Fresh croissants and bread each day. The apartment lacked absolutely nothing and they gave us lots of information for our stay. Wonderful facilities and garden to enjoy and right in tow. Thank you
