Description for B&B:
Our site can be best described by the keywords tranquillity, nature, privacy, and comfort. Located in the Quercy region of France, Pech Blanc offers a unique experience. The Quercy is a remarkable area, characterized by its rugged, hilly terrain and dense forests. The Lot département, where most of the Quercy is situated, became a nature park in 1999. The region is known for its deep gorges, carved by the river Lot and its tributaries, Célé and Vers. Despite its beauty, the Quercy remains unspoiled by tourists and is often referred to as the forgotten district of France, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers. There is an extensive network of footpaths and ample opportunities for horse riding, allowing visitors to explore the stunning Quercy region. For those who prefer to travel by car or motorcycle, there are countless discoveries to be made on scenic drives. The area boasts several noteworthy sites that are well worth a visit, and there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
At Pech Blanc, our traditional stone-built barn was fully restored in 2004/2005 to provide comfortable accommodation. We offer four bedrooms and a breakfast/dining room. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, while the other two are on the first floor. We have three double rooms and one family room, suitable for three people. Additionally, we have a specially adapted room for wheelchair users. All of our spacious rooms (ranging from 23-28 m²) are equipped with central heating, private bathrooms, and televisions. The combination of thick stone walls and modern insulation ensures a pleasant temperature all year round. The ground floor rooms have independent entrances, while the first floor rooms are accessed via a common staircase. All entrances, including the dining room, open onto the central courtyard. The main farmhouse, garage, and various outbuildings are situated around this courtyard. Our dining room features an inviting open fire. Furthermore, we have transformed the large hangar into a beautifully decorated lounge, where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner with us, should they choose to do so.
