Description for B&B:
The story of Jeanne and accommodation has been ongoing since 1972. Initially, there were lodges, and in 1999, guest rooms were added. But the journey doesn't end there. In July 2011, we opened another lodging called "La Maison Jean-Marie," which is designed to be accessible for people with reduced mobility. We are currently in the process of obtaining the "Tourism Handicap" certification. In the coming autumn, we will begin converting a barn into a shelter that can accommodate 8 people, also with accessibility for people with reduced mobility.Let's talk about La Maison Jean-Marie. On the ground floor, you will find a living-kitchen area, a spacious bedroom for two people, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, and a separate toilet. All of these facilities are well-adapted for people with reduced mobility. Upstairs, there is another bedroom for three people, along with a shower room and separate toilet.
Moving on to Leontine's House, it offers two double rooms, two family suites, a large dining room, a kitchen, and a living area. If you're traveling in a group, you have the option to rent the entire house and enjoy all the amenities. However, if you're just a party of two, you can choose to stay in the "The Ponthou" or "Plouégat" room, located on the top floor with a beautiful view over the small town of Le Ponthou and the Douron Valley, including the viaduct and the kiosk in the center of the square.
If you're visiting with your children, we have two bedroom suites called "Hortensia" and "Poppy." Each suite consists of two bedrooms, one for you and one for your children.
Our accommodation also features a large park with outdoor tables, providing the perfect opportunity to relax in the sun or in the shade under the weeping willow tree.
Lastly, we have Francis House, which can accommodate 2, 4, or 6 people. It offers a south-west facing terrace for you to enjoy the sun. Recently renovated, it includes two bedrooms for parents and children, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a kitchen, and a dining room with a fireplace.
And don't forget about La Maison de Marie, which includes a lounge kitchen, a spacious bedroom, and a vibrant bathroom.
