Welcome to our bed and breakfast, located in a 16th century manor near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the D-day beaches. Nestled in the countryside, our manor farm offers a tranquil environment for your stay. As you approach, a beautiful poplar alley will lead you to the impressive manor and its authentic farm buildings, including a cider-press and old arches.Our bed and breakfast accommodation features five very comfortable rooms, each equipped with queen size beds or a four poster bed. We also offer a suite with two rooms, accommodating up to 15 people. To reach your room, you will ascend an old spiral stone staircase located on the first and second floors.
The central location of our manor allows for easy access to various interesting places. Explore "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, visit the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernesey, or discover the historic D-Day beaches and monuments such as Utah beach, Omaha beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.
Steeped in history, our main building dates back to the 16th century, with even older foundations. Significant renovations were carried out during the 18th century. The setting of our manor traces back to the Gallo-Roman period, as Savigny was once connected to the renowned town of Alauma. Additionally, the property is bordered by the ancient Roman causeway of Cosedia.

The most wonderful place
My visit here with friends and my Dad was just incredible. The rooms and grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. Rose bushes abound. A trip I will never forget. Our hosts were just great!
