Directions

If you are driving from the ferry ports of Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo, or Roscoff, it will take approximately 4-5 hours by car. From Calais and Boulogne, expect a travel time of 6-7 hours. You can use the route planner on http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/viamichelin/gbr/tpl/hme/MaHomePage.htm. Make sure to select Boussais, Deux-Sevres (79600) as there are multiple French villages with the same name.

If you are coming from Saumur or Poitiers direction, upon reaching the village, take the first left onto Rue de la Daviere, then the first right onto Rue des Tilleuls. The house will be in front of you on the left-hand side.

If you are coming from Nantes or Bressuire direction, pass the square with the mairie and bar/restaurant in the village. After the church, take the first right onto Rue de la Daviere, then the next right onto Rue des Tilleuls. The house will be in front of you on the left.

You can park at the side of the house.

If you prefer to travel by air, the closest airport is Poitiers, which is approximately 45 minutes away. Ryanair operates flights from Stansted and Birmingham to this airport. There are three other airports within a 90-minute distance: Nantes, Tours, and La Rochelle. These airports are served by various airlines from multiple UK airports, including Ryanair, Flybe, and Jet2.
