Description for B&B:

We offer comfortable nightly rate rooms in our private house, providing the convenience of a Guest House with the affordability of a hostel. Our traditional terrace house features three rooms and two bathrooms, each with rustic charm and modern amenities. Our accommodations are perfect for modern musical, artistic, and academic individuals. Located on a quiet road in a lively area, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Our location provides easy access to the city centre and all airports, as we are situated in FINSBURY PARK TUBE zone 2. Please note that our rooms are not ensuite, but gowns and towels are provided. One room has a bathroom next door. Due to insurance regulations, guests are required to be out of the premises from 10 am to 5:00 pm every day, which allows for convenient access and sightseeing in zones 1/2.

Directions

Directions to Airports:

To reach the airports, you can take the Victoria/Picadilly Lines Tube, which is the same line for Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airports. Alternatively, you can go to the main station arrivals. Most airports are approximately 1 hour away, with Stanstead, Luton, and Heathrow being the most direct.

From Stanstead Airport, take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters/Tottenham Hale Tube. Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away from there.

From Heathrow Airport, take the Picadilly Line. From Gatwick Airport, take the Victoria Line. The nearest tube station to your destination is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2 and approximately 20 minutes away from the city center. From there, you can take the W7 bus, which will take around 5-10 minutes. Once you get off the bus, it will take you approximately 2-3 minutes to reach your home.

Your Tube stop is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2, while the bus is in zone 3. The journey from Finsbury Park to the city center on the Victoria/Picadilly Line takes around 20 minutes. It is recommended to purchase a Travel Card as it is cheaper.

To catch the bus, go upstairs and turn right to the back of the station. At the main road, wait for the W7 bus. When on the bus, ask the driver for Holly Park and it will take around 5-10 minutes, approximately 3-4 stops. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, go back one road and you will find your destination halfway down on the left, with a light purple door.

If you prefer to take a minicab, you can contact HERCULES at 0207 272 6666. There is also a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. The cost for a minicab to the airports is approximately £40-50, and it may be cheaper than taking the trains, especially if there are multiple passengers.

For parking, currently there is no charge between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. However, if you plan to leave your car between 10am and 2pm without staying overnight, please request vouchers and it will cost £5 per session.

You may want to investigate the London Pass at londonpass.com, as it offers cheaper travel and entrance to sites. Additionally, consider arranging an Oyster Card in advance for convenient travel within London.
