Description for Gite

We offer the rental of five cozy gites, accommodating 2 to 8 people, all featuring bedrooms on the first floor. Each gite comes with a fully equipped kitchenette, electric heating, and additional sofa-beds in the living room. Guests will also have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet. Situated within a restored farmhouse, our gites are surrounded by a spacious garden and a refreshing swimming pool. We warmly welcome groups, and our friendly staff can assist you in English.

Les Messauts is conveniently located by the picturesque "canal lateral", a waterway adorned with charming bridges and locks. This canal stretches from the Mediterranean Sea (canal du midi) to the vicinity of Bordeaux (canal latéral). Our area is renowned for its vineyards, exquisite chateaux, medieval towns, historic landmarks, museums, and stunning gardens. It is a region teeming with music and dance festivals, bustling markets, and enticing flea markets.

For those seeking tranquility, our area offers ample opportunities to partake in activities such as golfing, cycling, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Of course, a visit to one of the many vineyards in the vicinity is a must, where you can indulge in wine tasting and purchase your favorite bottles. Le domaine est grand et peut accueillir beaucoup de personnes. Idéal pour fête familiale, anniversaires, etc...

Directions

To access "Les Messauts," follow these directions:
- Take exit number 4 on the A62 (Bordeaux - Toulouse) highway, heading towards La Réole.
- Continue on the D9 road towards La Réole for approximately 3.5 km.
- After 3.5 km, take a left turn onto the D224 road, following the signs for Loupiac de la Réole / Blaignac.
- After passing Loupiac, take a right turn onto the D224 road.
- In Blaignac, take a right turn just before the church.
- Follow the signs for "Les Messauts - gites."
- Once you reach the canal, you will be able to see Domaine Les Messauts on the other side.
- Turn left, then right over the bridge, and immediately after the bridge, turn right again.
