It boasts 8 beautifully furnished bedrooms, each equipped with a modern en-suite shower, wash basin, and WC. Additionally, guests can enjoy Freeview digital color TV, a radio alarm, hair dryer, cooling fan, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Situated in a picturesque avenue leading to the seafront, The Dunedin offers free and unrestricted parking on both sides of Alexandra Road and the surrounding streets. While it is located on the outskirts of town, it is only a short stroll to the center and the seafront. This prime location allows guests to easily explore the numerous pubs, restaurants, and attractions in Penzance, all of which are reasonably priced.

The bright and airy dining room, located on the lower ground floor, serves a delicious breakfast. Guests can select from a variety of cereals, chilled fruit juices and segments, and cooked-to-order main courses to suit their preferences.

For relaxation, the guest lounge on the upper ground floor provides comfortable seating options, including settees and armchairs. Guests can indulge in watching TV, reading the provided books, newspapers, magazines, or tourist literature, or simply take a snooze.

The Dunedin offers complimentary and unrestricted internet access through their Free Hot-Spot Wireless Broadband (WIFI) network. Guests can access this service with their own laptops, provided they have a radio card, appropriate virus protection, and a firewall. Scratchcards are available upon request to reveal the password required for network access.

Please note that The Dunedin is a completely smoke-free establishment. Penzance is an ideal destination for a holiday, as it offers a central location to explore the Penwith Peninsula. This area is renowned for its hidden coves, sandy beaches, and ancient Celtic historical sites, all easily accessible from Penzance by car, train, or coach trips departing from the town's bus station. More adventurous individuals can partake in sailing, windsurfing, or hiking along the coastal footpaths, which offer stunning rugged landscapes, vibrant wildflowers, and occasional dolphin sightings.

The famous Minack open-air theater, situated on the cliffs of Porthcurno, provides enjoyable evenings watching various plays and musicals. A day trip to the peaceful Isles of Scilly is also highly recommended, with both helicopter and SS Scillonian departures available from Penzance. Lastly, the iconic St. Michael's Mount, owned by the National Trust, is a must-visit attraction. It rises majestically out of Mounts Bay and can be reached by boat or at low tide, by walking across the causeway.
