Description for Gite

Experience the charm of Alsace with our two cottages located between Strasbourg and Saverne. Situated just 3 km from the northern gate of the famous wine trail of Alsace, our cottages, named "At the Old Tannery," are housed in a newly constructed building on the site of a historic tannery that operated in the 18th and early 19th century.

Nestled in the quaint town of Wasselonne, known for its iconic square tower and rich history in traditional trades, our cottages offer a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. "The Lohkäs" cottage can accommodate 2-5 persons, while "Le Foulon" cottage is perfect for 2-4 people and is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including amenities for your little one.

Both of our gites in Alsace, Wasselonne, are newly built and beautifully furnished with a focus on functionality. They have been classified and labeled with 3 stars by the Prefecture and awarded 3 Keys by Clévacances for their exceptional quality.

Our prime location allows for easy exploration of Alsace Lorraine and even the Black Forest in Germany. We are just 3 km from the start of the Alsace wine route, 25 km from the vibrant city of Strasbourg, 30 km from the German border, 15 km from Saverne, 34 km from the renowned inclined plane of St. Louis Arzviller (boat lift), 28 km from Obernai, and 15 km from Wangenbourg, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Alsace."

Plan your unforgettable getaway in our charming cottages and discover the beauty of Alsace and beyond.
