"Welcome to 'La Metairie du Fraysse', a charming and characterful cottage in the beautiful Corrèze region. This detached house, restored in 2011, offers approximately 100m² of living space on the ground floor, providing all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay and a perfect setting for relaxation.

If you are a lover of tranquility and nature, you will adore this character house nestled in a small Correze hamlet, close to the stunning Gorges of the Dordogne. With its thick stone walls, inglenook fireplace, typical bassière of the area, exposed beams, and slate roof, the house has retained its original charm.

The spacious 30m² salon is centered around a traditional inglenook fireplace equipped with a stove, and features a large plasma TV, DVD player, and stereo. We also offer wireless internet for your convenience.

The kitchen, open to the living room, is fully equipped with an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and all necessary kitchen utensils.

There is a separate laundry room for your convenience.

The house offers three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with a double bed and a single bed (wrought iron sofa), and a small room with a single bed.

The bathroom features two basins and a bath with a tropical rain shower, and there is a separate toilet.

We provide baby equipment including a cot, highchair, bath, changing mat, potty, and bottle warmer.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, but please inform the owner when booking.

Please note that the house is non-smoking, and we kindly ask guests to refrain from throwing cigarette butts outside. Ashtrays are provided for your convenience.

The property boasts a large garden of 2000m², enclosed by a dry stone wall, and offers two lounges, a parasol, a barbecue, a playground, and badminton equipment for your enjoyment.

Our house is the perfect choice for a holiday with family or friends. Whatever your preferences, you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing break, or engage in various sports activities and discover the rich attractions of the surrounding area.

Nearby attractions include the Sédières Castle, Gimel waterfalls, Argentat-sur-Dordogne, the discovery center of the Middle Ages in Egletons, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, the Tours de Merle, the medieval farm in Xaintrie, the President Chirac museum in Sarran, and Tulle.
