Description for B&B:
FACILITIES:Our establishment offers two double-bed guest rooms. Each guest is provided with one feather pillow and one hollow fibre pillow. The duvets are typically feather, but if you have a feather allergy, we can provide a hollow fibre duvet instead. All of our bed linen is made of 100% cotton. For your comfort, our mattresses are regularly turned and have mattress protectors.
In our open-plan upstairs sitting room, you will find tea and coffee-making facilities. We also offer free WI-FI access, simply ask us for the code.
We happily accommodate families with babies, small children, and party groups, as long as both guest rooms are booked. While we do not have a designated family room, our guest rooms are separated by a private open-plan sitting room and are located close together.
Please note that we are not a guest house or hotel, but rather a small, friendly operation that takes pride in providing bed and breakfast services in our private home.
For those who desire a 3-course dinner with wine included, we offer this option every night of the week. However, please book in advance, allowing at least 24 hours notice.
Enjoy the tranquility of our location, as we are situated off the main road, which is already a quiet thoroughfare.

Directions
LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS:
We are located in the Pays de la Loire region, near the village of Averton, which is situated on the northern border with Normandy. Our B&B, La Maison de Noyer at La Cesnerie, is best accessed using LD Lines, specifically the Newhaven-Dieppe service. To reach Newhaven, you can take the M25 junction that connects to the M23, which is about an hour's drive away. The ferry journey itself takes approximately four hours and provides a relaxing start to your trip. Once you arrive in Dieppe, it will take around 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach us in St. Aubin du Desert via Rouen. Thanks to the speedy A28, this journey is now much faster compared to a few years ago when there was no autoroute.
If you are driving, the following are the approximate driving times to our location from the ferry ports: Dieppe, Caen, and Le Havre - 2 hours and 45 minutes; Cherbourg - 3 hours; Calais - 3 hours and 45 minutes. Additionally, Le Mans is only 50 minutes away, Alencon and Mayenne are both a 30-minute drive, and the Loire Valley & Saumur are approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes away.
DIRECTIONS:
When traveling south on the A28, take exit 20 and drive towards Sille le Guillaume. From there, continue on to Fresnay sur Sarthe, then Souge le Ganelon, and proceed to St Paul le Gaultier. Keep driving towards Villaines la Juhel on the D15, which then becomes the D119 as it enters the Mayenne. Take a right turn onto the D268 towards Gesvres, and then take the first right to reach La Maison de Noyer at La Cesnerie.
If you are using a GPS, simply enter LA CESNERIE 53700 for directions to our small hamlet consisting of only three houses. La Maison de Noyer is located down a short drive off the D268 and through a metal field gate.
