Welcome to Pognandière, a charming gite located in the heart of the beautiful Normandy region, in the Orne department. This comfortable and cozy 18th-century half-timbered house can accommodate up to 5 people.Whether you're looking for a night's stay, a weekend getaway, or a week-long vacation, Pognandière is the perfect destination for couples, families, or friends. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of this exceptional and well-preserved site, offering breathtaking views of the Augerons countryside.
Step inside and you'll find a welcoming living room with a traditional Norman fireplace, exposed beams, and tiled floors. The room is equipped with a TV, TNT, and a DVD player for your entertainment. The fully furnished and equipped kitchen includes a microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and a cellar with a washing machine. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with two 90cm beds and the option to add an additional 90cm bed if needed. There is also a second bedroom with a comfortable 140cm bed. The modern bathroom features a hydromassage shower and toilet.
This typical Normandy house boasts charming half-timbered walls, exposed beams, beautiful tiled and parquet flooring. Outside, you'll have access to a private garden and parking space.
Pognandière is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and offers easy access to nearby attractions such as the famous village of Camembert, known for its delicious cheese (just 5km away), the National Stud Farm of the Pine (13km), and the historic sites of Caen, Deauville, Honfleur, and the D-Day landing beaches (all within a 1-hour drive).
