Located in the heart of the Cevennes, at the crossroads of Le Gard and La Lozère counties, the Lou Sourel gîte offers a prime location in the upper part of Saint Roman de Tousque village. From here, guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the stunning Vallée Française in La Lozère and the picturesque Vallée Borgne in Le Gard. The gîte is easily accessible via the renowned Corniche des Cévennes tourist route, which stretches from Saint Jean du Gard to Florac. Conveniently, it takes only 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach from Montpellier, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Nîmes, 50 minutes from Alès, 35 minutes from Anduze and Florac, and just 20 minutes from Saint Jean du Gard. Despite being a 200-year-old house constructed with local stone, the gîte is equipped with all modern amenities. The renovations have been carried out using traditional materials and new eco-friendly products and techniques. Additionally, a solar system has been implemented to provide hot water, which is further supplemented by a gas heating system when necessary.Reviews
