Description for B&B:

La Roumec offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. We have two bedrooms, each with their own private facilities, as well as a spacious salon with a well-equipped kitchen.

Bedroom 1 is conveniently located on the ground floor and features a double bed and a single bed. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a corner bath, shower, toilet, and sink.

Bedroom 2 boasts a double bed on the lower level and a single bed on a charming mezzanine level accessed by stairs. Its en suite bathroom features a large shower, toilet, and sink.

In the salon, guests can relax in comfortable armchairs while enjoying the TV with both English and French channels, as well as a DVD player. We provide amenities such as an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and washing machine for your convenience. Additionally, a cot for a baby is available upon request.

Outside, guests can enjoy the swimming pool and garden, which includes beautiful fruit trees, a tranquil pond, and well-maintained grassed areas. A barbeque can be provided upon request.

Please note that La Roumec has a strict non-smoking policy and we regret that we are unable to accommodate animals.

great place to stay with friendly hosts, nothing is too much for them. nice quite surrounding, good to see the region. rooms are big and garden is lovely, breakfast is great

Directions

To get to La Roumec from Toulouse, it is a 2.5-hour drive or you can take a daily flight from numerous cities with different airlines. Car hire services are available as well.

If you are coming from the north French coast, it will take you approximately 8-9 hours (excluding stops) by car to reach La Roumec. Follow these directions if you are coming from the A20:

1. Take Exit 56 and head towards Rodez on the D802.
2. Pass through Figeac and continue on the D840/N140 towards Decazeville/Rodez.
3. When you reach St Christophe Vallon, turn right just after the Pharmacie onto the D11, heading towards Cransac.
4. Drive along this road for 4 kilometers, passing through Glassac. After a series of "S" bends, take the next right turn signposted for La Roumec (there are seven hamlets signposted here, La Roumec being one of them).
5. You will see the house with its tower in front of you. Follow the narrow lane, passing a large square house, until you reach our barn door. Drive past the barn and then take a sharp left turn down into our car park.

If you are coming from the A75, follow these directions:

1. Take Exit 42 and head towards Rodez on the N88.
2. From Rodez, continue on the D840/N140 towards Decazeville.
3. Pass the airport on your left-hand side.
