Nestled along the banks of the picturesque Rhone River, this charming residence, known as the Dauphinoise, dates back to 1680 and resembles a small castle in Vertrieu village. The village itself is home to two other castles, with the oldest dating back to the 13th century. Our house consists of two apartments and five guest rooms, including a suite, offering a variety of accommodations to suit different tastes. The landscape surrounding the property is incredibly peaceful and offers breathtaking views of the Bugey Mountains. The property is enveloped by a spacious park spanning over 8000 square meters, which leads directly to the Rhone River, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

Over the course of three years, we have transformed this pleasant and functional home into a true sanctuary, combining modern and stylish elements. With over 30 years of experience as a decorator and numerous travels around the world, we have curated a cozy ambiance that remains practical. We pride ourselves on using high-quality materials, many of which are made in France, including our prestigious Home CASSIOPEE collection of linens, which are recognized in boats, homes, and prestigious hotels. The decorative objects, paintings, and sculptures showcased throughout the property are created by well-known artists and are frequently sought after.

We offer our guests the opportunity to purchase any decorative objects, paintings, or sculptures that catch their eye, allowing them to truly envision these pieces in their own interiors.

Our accommodations include an apartment measuring 27 square meters, furnished with a comfortable 140 bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, a shower, a toilet, and all necessary linens and products. Additionally, we provide Nespresso coffee capsules, tea, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV.

Situated in the heart of the Blue Valley, with 834 kilometers of bike paths (Via Rhôna) and the Ain plain, our location is ideal for holidays, relaxation, work, or training, with numerous major centers in France, including EDF, easily accessible. The Alps are just an hour away, showcasing the beauty and natural spaces offered by the river. Nature surrounds us, providing a sense of peace and tranquility with every glance.

Families with children can take advantage of the nearby parks, offering activities such as tree climbing and the Walibi amusement park. The area also offers safe cycling routes and beginner-friendly walking trails.
